Grant Coordinator

The candidate would be joining a small but dynamic team of two.  The main areas of responsibility are working closely with officials at DHHS and HUD to coordinate Statewide Rental Assistant programs for Shalom House Inc., works in coordination with State staff to provide training and technical assistance to LAA staff on BRAP and Shelter Plus Care programs, provide coordination of grant activities to meet outcomes and timeframes of grant proposals and provide supervision to the two Housing Subsidy Analysts.  Qualification include: a bachelor’s degree in business or social sciences, demonstrated ability of working with a variety of social services providers, landlords and governmental agencies, familiarity with HUD regulations and a high level of competence in work processing and spreadsheet software including Access and Excel.
