Understanding the healing power of art, Shalom House introduced an art program in 1994, designed to help our clients explore their creative and individual potential. For some people, participation in the art classes is an important part of their recovery. The art program strives to break down barriers and to help remove the stigma that can separate those with mental illness from the community at large.
