I am pleased to announce the hiring of Kristin Melville as the Director of Development and Community Relations at Shalom House. Kristin was formerly with Counseling Services, Inc. (CSI) where she was the Director of Community Relations and served as the Interim Development Director. She was responsible for spearheading CSI's brand development and fund raising programs. Kristin brings with her thirteen years of fund raising and communications experience. She began her non-profit career as a house manager in Jamestown , New York , and then went on to serve as the Director of Development and Community Relations at a housing agency very similar to Shalom's services. She is a graduate of Fredonia State College with a Bachelors in English/Public Relations. She received the Maine Public Relations Council's highest regional awards for health care publications in annual reporting and fund raising.
