A gift to Shalom House does improve the lives of people who receive our housing and support services. Healthcare providers, municipalities and state systems rely on the vital work we do which means your contributions extend beyond this organization to make a difference to our whole community.

We are inviting you to join us in furthering our mission by making a tax-deductible gift to Shalom House. A gift will support our efforts to provide valuable housing and support services for a greater number of people in need.

Your gift will:

• Continue multi-levels of housing for 150 Shalom residents and over 1,000 people across the state of Maine to continue to live in their own homes.
  
• Continue our Peer Support Programs like the Consumer Educator and Peer support Services that help breakdown the barriers of mental illness.
  
• Continue the Shalom House Art Program where individuals can explore their creative potential, relieving symptoms by building confidence and self-esteem.

Shalom House is Home, Health and Hope. With Home people can take care of their basic needs. With Health there is peace in life’s journey. With Hope there is a future.

Shalom House, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation that receives a diverse mix of funding to provide quality, affordable housing and supportive services to adults with mental illness. Manyof our programs are funded entirely from private donations like yours. Your tax-deductible contribution is greatly appreciated and makes a real difference in the lives of the hundreds of people we serve.
